Experience

I’ve decades experience as a professional tutor and mentor (in-person and online). I tutored Economics, German, and Mythology at Macomb Community College for 3 years. I co-led a research seminar at an assisted living facility, whose residents preferred continued intellectual endeavor, as a researcher for the University of Michigan Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program. I was nominated, completed the required course work, and interned to work as Peer Writing Tutor at the University of Michigan Sweetland Writing Center for several years. I was employed by the University of Michigan Athletic Department as a tutor, mentor and administrator for eleven years. I am currently employed by Educational Testing Services as an SAT Rater and recently took a position as an independently contracted tutor for the local foster care program.
